Project Registration - Details
Before you Begin
- Make sure that you have an active e-mail address to which your registration number can be sent.
- There is only one registration per project even if the project involves several students. If your project is a group project decide which student will complete the online registration before you begin registration.
Registration Steps
- Click the Proceed to Participant Registration button on the bottom of this page or on the bottom of the Project Registration page.
- The screen below will open. Click on Login/Register.
- On the new screen, click on I am a paticipant.
- Now, fill in your e-mail address and click "Begin"
- Check your e-mail. You should receive a registration number from SFIAB. If you do not get one within a minute or two:
- Check your junk mail.
- Try again. You may have entered an incorrect e-mail address.
- If you still do not get a registration number, contact the webmaster
- Copy your registration number into the box beside Registration Number and click on Submit
- In the screen that now opens you will see a table with 7 registration items, 6 of which are marked as Incomplete. Click on the first one, Student Information
- In the screen that now opens fill in the required information in each field and then click on Save Student Information
- The screen should now show say Student Information Complete. If the screen still shows Student Information Incomplete you have failed to complete one of the required fields. Click on Back to Participant Registration Summary.
- The Participant Registration - Summary now shows that the Student Information is Complete.
- Now complete the:
- Emergency Contact Information
- Safety Information
- Double Check your Name
- You can not print the Signature Page if any of the preceding sections are marked as Incomplete. However, if you put any information into the Project Information section and save it, the Project Information will be marked as Complete. You can then come back at any time until 11.59 PM on Tuesday March 30 to complete this section.
- Print the signature page and mail it with your registration fees to:
Trent UniversityThe signature pages and fees must be received by the office of the Associate Dean of Science by 4:00 PM, March 30, 2010 to be accepted.

HINT: When you get to the project information section, compose your project summary in a word processor, discuss it with your teacher/mentor and then paste it into the project summary box.
